Join 'University of Birmingham' at the return of this popular event - 'Get into Rail', to be held at Quinton Rail Technology Centre. The event will focus on emerging and existing supply opportunities within the rail sector and will explore the rail mentoring programme which enables SMEs to:
Discover the opportunities, drivers and key players in the rail sector
Develop an understanding of what they need to do to get ready for rail
Understand the funded support mechanisms available
Develop an action plan to move your company forward
This event will help raise the profile of the Coventry & Warwickshire rail sector and cross-sector opportunities for the auto, aero and advanced manufacturing, cyber and creative and digital sectors.
The event is primarily aimed at local SMEs to help better understand and access the rail supply chain opportunities. It is also aimed at the rail industry, media, intermediaries and local and regional government to raise the profile of Coventry & Warwickshire as a location for rail R&D and inward investment. Attendees will gain a better understanding of UK rail supply chain opportunities, access to information and introduction to relevant networks, including the ERDF funded Digi-Rail Programme.
