Speaker

Speaker:

Sandrea Maynard, Barrister-at-Law and Educator. I am the Enterprise, Commercial and International Associate Head of the Law School. Her role requires her to bring in new business for the Law School, negotiate business contracts, prepare proposals and networking at events and conferences. She has 20 years practising at the Bar of England and Wales where she has been an in-house barrister and for the majority of those years being self-employed. She has worked with small and medium business enterprises both nationally and internationally on a consultancy basis. She also runs a module called BUSLEC (Business and Law Enterprise Clinic) as part of the LLB Law degree.

Shane Grimes As an educator, qualified accountant and strategic business advisor, Shane has had the pleasure of training and advising small businesses over the years.

The event is aimed at start-ups, smaller businesses and entrepreneurs that aren’t as experienced. Attendees will gain confidence in legalities of running small businesses and developing additional skills outside their basic business focus.
