Join Heritage and Culture Warwickshire at this informative cultural briefing event where event attendees will get the chance to make contacts and share ideas in a unique venue which displays the Warwickshire Museum collections, including the Sheldon Tapestry, the recently acquired Roman Hoard and the Warwickshire dinosaur! 

Helen Peters Chief Executive of Shakespeares England will talk on the Tourism Zone BID and tourism in Coventry and Warwickshire. 

Curator Sara Wear will talk about the Tapestry Map which has been in the collection of the Warwickshire Museum Service since the 1960s. It was commissioned in the late 1580s by Ralph Sheldon (1537-1613) to decorate his newly built house at Weston, near Long Compton, in South Warwickshire. 

Attendees at this event will get the chance to learn about the history sharing community website 'Our Warwickshire' and share their personal history and business history.

The event is aimed at the tourism and hospitality sector but all businesses are welcome.
