Wolford Wood is a privately-owned working woodland.   This rare 150-acres of scientific wood is protected and commercially managed for the benefit of the woodland habitat and its indigenous biodiversity.  The woodland is classed as Ancient & Historic with plantation Ash and Oak. Hazel, Birch, Willow and Sweet Chestnut is coppiced to order and as part of a 30-year management plan approved by The Forestry Commission and English Nature. As a way to sustain its future, Wolford Wood can be booked as a venue for selected events and private parties.

Agenda: 

10-10.30am - Arrival and registration, tea, coffee

10.30 am - Moth and plant identification. 

10.40 am - Introduction to Wolford Wood, its biodiversity and partnership organisations. The wellbeing activities available here and opportunities for investment and sponsorship.

11 am - Corporate groups assemble, other delegates assemble

Activities available: archery, pole-lathe, bee-keeping, woodland clay kitchen

Head off on walks through the wood with guides and experts

12/1 pm - Finish
